About the project
Completed by Plazibat + Jemmott the brief for the Pietra Apartments requested a modern 9 storey building, to be built on a sloping inner city site with direct riverfront access.
The building is organised into 3 zones in section. A single 2 storey river house establishes the lower zone of the building with 2 single floor villa apartments forming the middle zone and 5 typical single floor apartment's completing the top zone.
In total the development consists of 8 apartments each with private lift access, a 2 level basement car park and 2 pools. Pedestrian and vehicular access is via an easement lane with a stone clad entry portal establishing the building entry. A contemporary architectural expression both internally and externally responds to both the site and clients brief of providing a development of the highest quality.
