Cois Fharraige House

The four bedroom Cois Fharraige House on the beachfront at Redcliffe is much more than simply a beach home.

Privacy from the beachfront boardwalk dictated the garden be raised one level higher than public view. A ‘piano nobile’ at the first floor level opens up via large glass doors to a terrace which is stepped towards the beach. The boardwalk level has direct access to a boat house. A lap pool on the same level which is concealed by the stepped terrace opens onto a small courtyard to the North. The site is wide enough for all rooms to be arranged around a central atrium which rises to the accessible roof level. A lift was installed to service three levels. Large areas of glazing to the east frame the spectacular water views on all floors except the pool level.
