Tony has over 30 years’ experience with a strong reputation for client-focused leadership, business acumen, and exceptional architecture, along with a wealth of expertise spanning multiple disciplines, project types and sectors.
Growing up in a number of rural and urban cities across Queensland, Tony pursued architecture upon the advice of his Grandmother who recognised his passion for drawing at an early age. He names his humble beginnings as a key influence in his approach to design, which is honest and unpretentious. Tony crafts structures of the highest quality that are coherent, responsive to client and user needs, sustainable and accessible. He believes that excellent designs should speak to people and enrich the lives of all who engage with them.
Clients describe Tony as an authentic and approachable Project Director. He works collaboratively, maintaining open communication with clients, team members and user groups throughout project delivery. He shares his vision and intuitive understanding of design to discover the unique possibilities within the constraints of each brief, enabling him to consistently deliver remarkable design outcomes on time and on budget. Tony’s interest in humanist and sustainable outcomes guides the development of places that are environmentally and socially responsive, and adaptive to global change.
An accomplished architect, Tony was one of just 35 architects from around the world accepted into the elite Glenn Murcutt Masterclass in 2014. He is dedicated to advancing his field through the Australian Institute of Architects, holding the position of Chapter Councillor and as a juror of the 2016 State Architectural Awards.
