Michael is a Principal of Conrad Gargett. Prior to joining the practice through a merger in 2016, Michael was a Director and co-founder of Donaldson Worrad, a practice focused on the retail sector. His 40-year career as an architect encompasses eight years as a Director of Havens Kirkwood & Meertens and ten years as an Associate of PTW. Michael’s substantial portfolio of work demonstrates comprehensive architectural expertise and experience across a broad range of project types. His career highlights include projects characterised by uncertainty and rapid change, such as designing for Channel 7 during their switch to colour television, working with Fairfax Broadway in their transition to computerised print, and providing full architectural services to ALDI supporting their entry into Australia. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science (Architecture), a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of NSW, and a Graduate Diploma in Design Science (Facilities Management) from the University of Sydney.
