Leightons HQ awarded Queensland’s first 6 Star Green Star Office Interiors

Leightons HQ awarded Queensland’s first 6 Star Green Star Office Interiors CGA has recently completed the corporate interior for Leighton HQ, which has recently been awarded Queensland’s first 6 Star Green Star Office Interiors. This project brings together all of Leighton’s business units under one single location integrated within a 6 star design rated base building.

The project’s focus is on energy efficiency, future proofing through flexibility and optimising indoor working environments for users through the use of better lighting and ventilation and less volatile organic compounds. CGA has successfully balanced the Green Building Council criteria with the client’s operational requirements by striving to achieve the more difficult and innovative green points, thus off-setting traditionally green but counter-intuitive requirements such as the need for enclosed offices. The design successfully integrates the dynamic nature of the client organisation by planning for future change.
