Conrad Gargett Riddel designed PS1 Springfield to become GE’s Qld headquarters

Springfield Land Corporation announced in August that GE Australia had chosen Greater Springfield, located just 35 minutes south-west of the Brisbane CBD, as its new Queensland headquarters.

PS1 Springfield, a purpose built six level 12,500 square metre office building design by Conrad Gargett Riddel will house the majority of  GE’s Queensland office-based employees  from early 2015, along with other tenants.  Intended to be developed as a 5 Star Green Star project, the planning is for an integrated workplace with the latest in contemporary interiors applied to the fit out. The site, which will have access to restaurants, cafes, crèches and a gymnasium as well as other shopping, services facilities and extensive parklands, is under construction.
