Aspley State High School Redevelopment

Render of Aspley State High School

The Aspley State High School Redevelopment Project includes a new Sports Facility featuring an indoor twin basketball and volleyball courts, weights room, flexible learning areas and canteen as well as a new Visual Arts / Music Facility comprising a variety of contemporary learning spaces clustered around a central student gallery. The new facilities integrate into the existing school masterplan by supporting existing linkages and providing vantage points to the existing sports ovals.

Bart Mellish, Aspley MP and Grace Grace, Education Minister both attended Aspley State High School to turn the first sod on a new multi-purpose sports hall and music centre.

“I couldn’t be happier to see construction starting on these infrastructure projects at Aspley SHS, worth nearly $16 million….Both buildings will significantly boost art, sport and music subjects for students, giving them an opportunity to be educated in world-class facilities…It’s part of our $235 million Renewing Our Schools Program, one of 26 state schools benefiting from this funding”, Mr Mellish stated.

Conrad Gargett is delighted to collaborate on such an exciting piece of social infrastructure moving Queensland schools into the future.  We congratulate Broad Constructions on being awarded to construct this project with us.
