An incredible night for Conrad Gargett at 2015 Queensland Architecture Awards

The Conrad Gargett team are standing proud after taking home five awards for the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital and Goddard Building Rooftop expansion, University of Queensland at the 2015 Queensland Architecture Awards.

Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, designed in joint venture with Lyons Architecture was the most awarded project of the night, taking home four awards including the F D G Stanley Award for Public Architecture and the Karl Langer Award for Urban Design.’

The brightly coloured interior and vibrant art program saw the Hospital awarded the State Award for Interior Architecture and The Australian Institute of Architects Prize for Art & Architecture (Qld).

Bruce Wolfe, Managing Director of Conrad Gargett describes the success of Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital as a representation of seven years of intense planning, design and construction.

The night was not all about Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital for Conrad Gargett. They were also awarded the State award in Heritage Architecture for the Goddard Building Rooftop Expansion at the University of Queensland’s St Lucia Campus.

This industry recognition confirms Conrad Gargett’s reputation a leader in Australian architecture and design.

The Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital and Goddard Rooftop Expansion will now progress to the National Architecture Awards to be announced in November.
