We are seeking a an experienced Project Architect with tertiary qualifications and a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience within an Australian architecture practice, for our Sydney Studio. You should have a solid portfolio together with a proven ability to work within a collaborative project environment.

The successful applicant will :

  • Have a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in Australia
  • Be proficient in documenting in Revit
  • Be registered as an Architect in Australia
  • Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, depending on the needs of the project
  • Be experienced in documentation and delivery of complex projects
  • Report to Directors and other senior team members
  • Skills in 3D modelling and model making preferred;
  • Display good communication and presentation skills; and
  • Be enthusiastic and self-motivated.

The position will be based in our Sydney studio.

Assistant Accountant

Due to continued growth nationally, we are seeking an experienced, organised and well-presented Assistant Accountant to join our team.  This is a diverse role in a fast paced environment within a tight-knit team, and demands a highly organised individual with an ability to work autonomously and in a self-motivated manner.

You will have the ability to work with our internal finance team including our Finance Director and Finance Manager, and across all of our studios.

Responsibilities

  • Assistance in preparation of monthly invoicing (Advanced Excel a must)
  • Assistance in updating job costing systems (experience using Total Synergy an advantage)
  • General bookkeeping (assisting with end of month journals, reconciliations, taxation obligations, accounts payable – as required)

Experience / Background / Qualities

  • An Australian accounting degree or similar tertiary education is required, or equivalent practical experience
  • Advanced Excel
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Confident and effective communicator

Office Administrator

Due to continued growth in our Sydney studio, we are seeking an experienced, organised and well-presented Office Administrator to join our team.  This is a diverse role, in a fast paced environment, within a tight-knit team and demands a highly organised individual with an ability to work autonomously and in a self-motivated manner.

You will have the ability to work with our internal team including senior management across all of our studios as well as be at the forefront of interactions with our clients, consultants and employees in the Sydney studio.

Responsibilities

  • Compilation and format of complex tender submissions / fee proposals, including managing sub-consultant submissions, using InDesign and MS Word
  • Liaison point on behalf of the Directors/Principals to clients, consultants and other relevant stakeholders
  • Assist Directors/Principals as required
  • Act as advisor and support for the wider team
  • Assist with recruiting new employees, including training and induction
  • Point of contact for tenancy / building management issues/repairs
  • Supervise/direct activities of Executive Assistant and if required assist with general office duties including :-
    • Greet clients and visitors upon arrival; ensuring studio is kept clean and tidy at all times
    • Organise weekly meetings, events and maintain all relevant facilities
    • Respond to emails, calls and any other types of communication as required by the business
    • Be part of our internal social club activities, including event planning, booking activities etc

Experience / Background / Qualities

  • Tertiary qualification in Business Management / Administration or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Confident and effective communicator
  • Experience across Creative Suite and MS Office Suite applications
  • Team orientated, willing to have fun and passionate about career growth and development
